Frank W. Stout DDS, MS.
Dr. Frank Stout's background in academia is renowned and the knowledge at his fingertips vast. He received his B.S. degree in chemistry and his D.D.S. from the University of Detroit. His Master of Science in oral medicine is from Western Reserve University (Case Western Reserve). He was a Duke University Graduate School Research Fellow and also studied at the University of Maryland Graduate School. He holds a Fellowship from the American Academy of Oral Pathology and is a Diplomate with the American Board of Oral Medicine.
Dr. Stout has been on the faculties of the Dental Colleges of the Universities of Maryland, Case Western Reserve, South Carolina and has recently retired as Associate Professor of Oral Medicine-Oral Diagnosis at the College of Dentistry at the University of Florida at Gainesville.
Dr. Stout has lectured widely throughout the United States in all phases of oral medicine and oral diagnosis. He has given numerous lectures on the epidemiology of AIDS, Hepatitis B and infection control. His articles have appeared in numerous journals, including Oral Surgery, Oral Medicine, Dental Management, Oral Pathology, Florida Dental Journal and the Journal of Dental Research. He has served as an editor and consultant for our courses on AIDS and infection control and wrote our Medical History to Prevent Anaphylaxis. His courses are a must!
