Thomas Holbrook, DDS
Dr. Thomas Holbrook is well qualified in his specialty of Periodontics. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan and his Dental degree from the University of Pennsylvania. He then received his certificate in Periodontics from the University of Kentucky.
Dr. Holbrook has been very active in his professional associations, having been past president of the Florida Society of Periodontists. He also served on the Executive Council of the Southern Academy of Periodontology.
Dr. Holbrook has given numerous lectures on Periodontics, most specifically in his area of expertise, ultrasonics and mucogingival surgery. He has published several articles in his field in Clark's Clinical Dentistry.
Ultrasonics has become a most effective modality in the treatment of periodontal disease. The course written by Mary Kerger R.D.H. and edited by Dr. Holbrook gives us valuable insights into this course of treatment as well as the disease process itself.
