Marilyn K. Glassberg, MD
Leading Researcher of Lung Disorders in Women
Dr. Glassberg received her B.A. with honors from Wellesley College in Massachusetts before attending the University of Miami's School of Medicine. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine, Division of Pulmonary Disease at the University of Miami, School of Medicine.
She is considered an expert on pulmonary diseases, published in such journals as the Journal of Cardiovascular Pharmacy, In Vitro, Journal of Applied Physiology, and Circulation. She serves as faculty for our courses on tuberculosis. A growing health threat worldwide, much of the failure to control this disease lies with health professionals who fail to recognize the signs and send high risk patients for evaluation and treatment.
